ROC Micro's new custom
desktops all come with a 2 year limited warranty against
defects in materials or workmanship. The 2 year warranty
period starts from the original date of purchase.
During this 2 year period ROC Micro will repair or
replace defective parts at no additional charge to
you. During the first year of the 2 year warranty
out-of-state customers will be required to pay for
shipping costs when sending the computer back to ROC
Micro for repair, however ROC Micro will pay for the
shipping to return the computer to our customer. During
the 2nd year of the warranty all out-of-state customers
will pay for shipping to and from our repair center.
The customer is responsible for the payment, at our
current rates, for all repairs or service outside
the scope of the limited warranty.
ROC Micro is not liable for any
loss, expense, cost, or damage that may result in
the use or inability to use the computer. Under no
circumstances will ROC Micro be responsible
for costs or expenses exceeding the price of the original
purchase price of the computer system.
For all local computer systems sales
in the Rochester, New York and surrounding areas,
the customer is responsible for bringing the computer
to us and picking it up. We do offer pickup and delivery
of systems for an additional cost. Please inquire.
The 2 year warranty is subject to the following
conditions:
This warranty extends only to products distributed
by ROC Micro and is effective only if the products
are purchased and operated in the USA. (Within the
USA including US 48 States, Alaska and Hawaii.)
This warranty covers only normal use
of the computer. ROC Micro shall not be liable
under this warranty if any damage or defect results
from (i) misuse, abuse, neglect, improper shipping
or installation; (ii) disasters such as fire, flood,
lightning or improper electric current; or (iii) service
or alteration by anyone other than an authorized ROC Micro representative.
In the event that your computer is returned
to ROC Micro for repair – should no defect
in materials or workmanship is found, you will be
responsible for return shipping and current labor
charges.
You must retain your bill of sale or other proof
of purchase to receive warranty service.
The computer’s serial number must be un tampered
with and clearly identifiable.
No warranty extension will be granted
for any replacement part(s) furnished to the purchaser
in fulfillment of this warranty.
ROC Micro accepts no responsibility
for any software programs, data or information stored
on any media or any parts of any products returned
for repair to ROC Micro Repair Center.
All pre-installed software programs
are licensed to customers under non-ROC Micro
software vender’s term and conditions provided
with the packages.
This warranty does not cover any third
party software or virus related problems.
ROC Micro makes no warranty either
expressed or implied regarding third-party (non-ROC Micro) software.
30-day money back guarantee does not
include opened software, parts, special order merchandise
and shipping & handling fees.
ALL COMPUTER SYSTEMS BEING SENT TO US FOR REPAIR
MUST BE ASSIGNED AN RMA# AND THE
RMA# MUST BE CLEARLY VISIBLE ON THE OUTSIDE OF
THE PACKAGE. FAILURE TO RETURN A PRODUCT WITH
AN ASSIGNED RMA# WILL BE SUBJECT TO BE REJECTED BY
OUR SHIPPING DEPARTMENT.
